rapportés sont autant d’éléments qui peuvent constituer des collections personnelles et trouver leur place dans nos espaces intimes. Ces pratiques personnelles de collectionneur font écho aux missions institutionnelles du Frac pour soutenir, préserver et transmettre les œuvres des artistes vivants qui ont fait de la création leur métier. Ces deux collections se déplacent et nous accompagnent, mais tandis que la première évolue au gré de la vie de son propriétaire, la seconde défie le temps et conserve les œuvres pour les transmettre le plus longtemps possible.&nbsp; Si deux types de collections se distinguent, des pratiques semblables se rencontrent. Le bronze est réalisé selon la technique de cire perdue. Le cadre de cire est confié tel un ready-made à la fonderie. Les aléas du tirage opèrent une transition inhabituelle, transformant la matrice industrielle en une forme imparfaite qui semble “naturelle”.&nbsp; Bronze, 21x18x3cm - Beehive, 2024An artificial beehive frame made of beewax, used to accelerate the bees' work in honey production, is used as a mold for a bronze sculpture. The bronze is made using the lost wax technique. The wax frame is sent to the foundry as a ready-made.
